Katydid passed away last night and I have no reason why. The Commander said she was a little off yesterday when he put the sheep away but we had no reason to expect such a tragedy. She was a polled strawberry blond, so beautiful and my favorite. I will miss her and the other sheep keep looking around for her, very sad.
I hope to see her again in heaven, and I hope she enjoyed living here. Rest peacefully Katydid.
So sorry to hear about Katydid :( Such a beautiful sheep.
ReplyDeleteThank you Stace, she will be missed.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry. It's sad to lose an animal on Christmas. It's sad to lose an animal on anyday. Such a tragedy. Take care!

I am sorry. Very hard to lose a beautiful animal without much warning.
ReplyDeleteLynn/Nancy, Thank you for the kind words.
ReplyDeleteI am so sad. What a loss. I would question all the other sheep one by one. See if they finger the bad guy. When grandma's unhappy everyone should be unhappy. Love to all of you. Mom
ReplyDeleteThanks Mom, I love you too!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry for your loss. She looked like a sweet girl!!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear you lost Katydid...she was such a pretty girl. All losses are hard, but especially when you don't have any warning or reason. Take care.
ReplyDeleteOh, no. I'm so sorry for the loss of your Katydid. Words can't express what it feels like to lose one of your precious animals. I'm thinking of you.
ReplyDeleteBMKW - She was a sweet little girl, I was so looking forward to her lambing.
ReplyDeleteShannon - This was my first sheep/goat loss, it is more personal than loosing some of the guineas. Thank you for your kind words.
Farmgirl - They are all precious aren't they. Thank you for your thoughts.
Oh my heart is broken for you. That is just so sad, particularly that you really didn’t see it coming. She was a beauty and I am sure you will see her again in heaven.
ReplyDeleteThank You Verde, I do hope to see her.
