Poetry Slam Challenge: OFG Style

It's not every day that OFG decides to show her sensitive side, so I am linking to her Poetry Slam Challenge. Maybe she will create a page link along the lines of Wordless Wednesday or Farm Friends Friday???? Nah!

I'll throw in a Guinea Haiku and a normal Guinea rhyme, what do you have?

Beautiful to See?
Creations Left Over Parts
Tick Eating Machine

A lonely vagabond wanders on to the farm
An exhausting journey of survival all on his own
The new flock sounds the alarm
Will he be accepted at his new home?

  1. Excellent guinea haiku for sure! and nah thats all i got as far as fancy poetry goes... you know that my iambic pentameter is always left hangin' somewhere...but you never know what will happen next!

i could come up with a Kaihu... i mean Haiku about Kai.... humm... lemme think about that.

  2. OFG - I was hoping the blogosphere would pick up on your idea and cram the net with poetic farm prose, alas I am left full of woe and regret:

I have full cause of weeping; but this heart
Shall break into a hundred thousand flaws
Or ere I'll weep. O fool, I shall go mad!
