Several Days this week have been relatively warm with temps in the high teens low twenties. For the first time in weeks the Guineas have come out of the coop and flown up into the trees.
For the first time in a long time the chickens and Guineas have been coming out to meet me at lunch time to get their pasta and yogurt.
They have a call that is squeaky and loud but I have missed it. Around here Guineas crying is the sound of music.

I was just thinking about your guineas this morning...not sure what made me think of them, but I realized I hadn't seen any pictures for awhile. Glad they have been able to get out and sing for you!
ReplyDeleteAwww, spoken like a woman who LOVES her birds!
ReplyDeleteWoooo! High teens, low 20's...break out the shorts and tank tops! Who's with me?!
:-)
Shannon - Funny the things one can get used to, the noise is annoying at first but it now sounds like home.
ReplyDeleteFarmgirl - When it was -30 and then warmed up to 20 the 50 degree temp change had everyone, animals included, thinking it was warm out!
