The sun was out and at 28*F it was a perfect day to trim hooves. Addison and Becca Boo were done quickly but Gidget took a little bit longer. Seems Sara was getting a little concerned about something.
Apparently that "something" was a clear lack of attention to Sara! She can get a little teeny tiny bit jealous. Nothing a quick round at stick throwing couldn't fix.
Chip likes being held. It seems that between the warm sun and hoof trimming Chip got a little relaxed.
So relaxed that at one point I had to make sure he was still breathing. Isn't he cute?

Oh my gosh--I am in love with Chip!!! He is adorable-I would end up putting him in the bed with us :) LOL
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking to FFF!
So cute.
ReplyDeleteHe is a adorable! Do you hold the goats while trimming hooves? I guess that is another perk of the dwarf breeds : )
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet little goat. The sleeping photo is too cute.
ReplyDeleteVerde - If you let Chip in the bed he probably wouldn't ever get out. Thanks for hosting FFF!
ReplyDeleteButtons - The bad thing about it is he KNOWS it!
Michaele - We hold them and I think both humans and goats enjoy it. Great video over at your place, thanks.
BMKW - He is precious and he keeps the others in line.
I certainly wish my goats were that mellow when it was time to trim hooves. Chip certainly is a cute thing.
ReplyDeleteI certainly do not think I would ever be that relaxed getting a pedicure.
ReplyDeleteTeresa - The others struggle a bit, Chip is the only one whole seems to enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteMillie - You just need someone to snuggle you during the process is all.
Chip is so stinking cute! The sun looks so warm, that is until you look at the very big gloves and jacket being worn ;) Glad the sun is shining though!
ReplyDeleteOh that is cute, what a relaxed little goat. Is Sara as relaxed when you trim her nails:)?
ReplyDeleteCute~~~cute~~~~?? are you kidding ~~they are so way beyond cute!! Love them!! miss my baby Nigerians!!
ReplyDeleteWhat adorable goats!
ReplyDeleteThat little Chip is too darling!...:)JP
ReplyDeleteShannon - It is sad when 28* F is considered a warm day. The sun really does make a difference.
ReplyDeleteKaren - Sara is never relaxed, ever!
Rain - I agree,
Tamara - They really are, and I have kids coming soon!
HITH - Chip is spoiled and unfortunately he knows it.
Brrrr...28 sounds pretty cold to me...I'm a fair weather fan :) Chip is adorable! Our daughter is getting goats in April for a 4-H project...it will be a new experience for all of us.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog!
I can't believe that your goat falls asleep while you hold him. How cute!
ReplyDeleteAlica - You are going to love them, but they are very demanding on your time. What kind is she getting?
ReplyDeleteDreaming - It only happens with Chip, he is so trusting.
Oh, Chip is a doll! You are so tempting me to get a goat or 2!! But Randy really doesn't want goats at all... :( I'll have to show him little Chip!! :)
ReplyDeleteLynn - If you get some you will love them. They would love your property with all its brush and brambles.
ReplyDeleteLove it! Chips is darling.
