The kids are growing fast. Alex loves to be outside and often wanders off in the goat pen all by his lonesome. He is an adventurous tyke.
Little Man is actually taller than Alex now. He is a more of a herd animal but can be counted upon to be Alex's shadow during his adventures. They both hop and pop all over the place.
I am really enjoying them now, so cuddly.
Of course all the other goats still like my company. They enjoy nothing more than climbing all over me.
Until they realize that I don't have any treats for them then they are off in search of food. Where is Spring? They so want to go out and forage, I can't wait for something/anything to start growing.

We have some green popping up, but the weather here has been horrible so far this week.....my guys haven't been outside in 3 days! Very cold, rain and high winds.....yuck! Tomorrow is suppose to be half way decent.....so keeping my fingers cross for them to be outside! Your babies, big and little are so cute!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun post! I loved seeing the babies in your arms and the big ones on your back!
ReplyDeleteSending you lots of warm thoughts about warmer weather... I've been out weeding today, things are growing like you wouldn't believe here. Be careful what you wish for. :-)
These pictures are adorable! Both of them are so cute, but I'm partial to Little Man. Alex has a super cute face though, so I guess it's a toss up! I love the one of you on the ground getting climbed on, they love that don't they, climbing all over us! Really cute :) I can't wait for the grass to grow too, everyone is just itching to get out and graze.
ReplyDeleteNiece - Today was the first time they have been able to get out in quite a while. They are so stir crazy and sick of hay, what they would give for a few juicy weeds or dandelions.
ReplyDeleteDanni - As you know goats are so personable, I just love holding them. I wonder how Pete and Reggie would like Alex and Little man, hmmm....
LuckyBunny - I think they are both handsome, they don't have the compact faces. See all the brown, still no green yet.
They are so cute! I have a couple that maul me every time I step out there.
ReplyDeleteYour babies are so cute. So strange to see you in a jacket. 90 here all week.
ReplyDeleteTeresa - I'm sure it is a soft mauling!
ReplyDeleteDebbie - If I added the last three morning temperatures together I would still be well shy of your 90 degrees. Heck I would settle for an afternoon high of 45 degrees.
and.. it looks like you did a great job on the disbudding. Dahlia's looked like that and one popped of those scrabby things off.. i dont think she'll have any scurs. and hopefully you wont either! great work baby!
ReplyDelete:-)
OFG - Thanks, I would hate to have to go back and redo the job.
